Paris: German Business Aviation operator MHS Aviation of Munich has acquired two Dassault Falcon 2000LX EASy during the Paris Air Show which is taking place this week at the Le Bourget airport. Steffen Fries, CEO of MHS Aviation, said that the acquisition of the aircraft is an enhancement of the 19 aircraft strong fleet of the company. The Falcons will bring the total number of aircraft in MHS Aviation’s fleet to 21. The Falcon Jets are capable of flying some routes which other aircraft in MHS Aviation’s fleet can’t serve. “It’s a product that complements our existing fleet. We are very well positioned now. The Falcon 2000LX EASy will give the owner a very good charter revenue”, said Fries. The legendary reliability of the Dassault Falcon was a major factor for the acquisition of the type. “The Falcon 2000LX EASy offers us a great residual value, too”, added Fries.
MHS Aviation is in the market for 40 years now. Both aircraft are the first ever Dassault Falcon Business Jets in MHS Aviation’s fleet. The first 2000LX EASy is expected to join the fleet as early as next week. The second one should be available for charter end of July.
MHS Aviation is training its flight crews at CAE in Burgess Hill, UK.
